Meet my planner!

Meet my A5 planner

So, I was thinking how to begin using this blog.
Let's begin with introducing you to my planner and my systems.

A5 - Paperchase Planner

So my first A5 is a Paperchase planner. I have been using a personal planner al through my student period (can't survive without one I tell you ), but I had noticed that in my curent job (PhD) I needed alot more space and alot more sections. Also I like to have my to do list for the day open on my desk, so that when something pops into my head I can quickly write it down so I do not forget to email that person or student with this or that question.

I love filofax I really do. But as a PhD the budget is slim. I also first wanted to see whether I'd stick to using the planner as I intended to do. That doesn't mean that one day I might NOT buy an A5 filofax .. jus tnot now. So thats why I choose my first planner to be this awsome paperchase one. I also love that it has a print on the front.

As you can see I've moved in well ... there are already quite alot of papers in here and I am thinking of putting in even more. So far the rings are holding the paper just fine but we will have to see what happens over the next weeks.
I ordered some tab stickers from ebay and O my gods they are just so cute. The weird thing is .. I'm not that into cute usually but with my planner I guess all these suppressed feelings from my childhood resurface haha.
And finally this is the side view. For now I have this Paul Frank pen in the penholder. I found it at this super cheap shop (Xenos) in Amsterdam for a few cents. And since it has hearts and it is pink .. it is just awful enough to fit with the rest of the planner :)

So that is my A5 planner from the outside. I will next post some pictures and info on my lay out and the way I use it. Hope you enjoyed!

*ps: I bought an overly pro camera with which I made these pictures ... I'm starting a course in photography in two weeks ... I hope for all of us that the quality of my picture taking will seriously improve.
