Cocoadaisy insert

So I haven't updated in a while I am aware. But I've got something really cool now which gives me a reason to update my blog.
For December I've ordered the cocoadaisy (www.cocoadaisy.com) insert for my filofax personal and it came in today yay!.

So here I want to share with you my first impressions on the insert which might help if you consider buying these (let me give you a spoiler: you should).

One planner: The experiment

So, I figured I could do a blogpost on my current experiment to find Planner Peace. Let me first expand a little on which planners I use and what I use them for. And then I will tell you my current plan

My planner dream came true! - Purple Malden is here!

So, my dream planner has always been the personal Malden.
But it being so expensive I decided to wait untill I could find a deal 2nd hand or something else. But, I got my holiday money last week and I figured.. heck, why not. And I ordered myself the PURPLE Malden in personal size. And let me tell you. It really is the planner of my dreams. It's so pretty so amazing. The rings are however, not totally aligned perfectly but there's no gap so I didn't sent it back (but for 100 euro's .. its kinda crappy, then again I've also heard that on some Maldens the leather wasn't good).

My new and most awesome TN :D

I received my new TN from Monique at Morgan Le Fae's Trinkets and I cannot get over how pretty it is. It is the most pretty thing EVER. I'm just working on the set up. Have a few booklets in there now. Weekly planning, my wedding is coming up and my journal :) Its nice cause my original midori is now just set for my Asatru stuff so I dont have to drag that round (quite personal).

Anyway, I should just show you what all the fuss is about.

In the legendary words of Britney Spears; Oops I did it again.
It was so much fun making my previous video that I decided to do another one! On my fox-themed A5 planner that I use mainly for work.

2015 Fox year

So for my 2015 insert I wanted to go for a theme. I love foxes and I've always toyed with the idea to create a fox-themed Filofax. Never quite having the time to start, I did this winter break! And, it is almost done (just in time). Of course it is never really done and I am always on the look out for new great Fox things to add to the planner, but for now I can say I can work with my current lay out. People have been super nice to me in offering to send fox-related things and without those kinds hearts this would not have been possible:)
I hereby present you my 2015- FOXY theme.

Using Passion Planner in my planner

Using Passion Planner in my planner.

So, a little while back I found out about the Passion Planner (www.passionplanner.com). A great idea which is currently running a crowd funder to actually make these planners. The idea is that it has room for all your passions in one. Planning, doodling, journaling etc. It really looks great so go check out the website. I backed the project so somewhere next month I will get the printable pdfs for 2015, but currently you can already download (for free) a blank page for the planner. I printed one to use it in my planner for next week. To see if I like these inserts and whether I will use these for 2015.

A look inside my regular sized Midori Travelers Notebook

A look inside my regular sized Midori Travelers Notebook.

I've had this notebook for quite a number of years and tried all kinds of different things with it. For a while I used it as my 'all round' notebook. So also for my calender and work/school planning. But because I had so many different sections I just didn't think it worked. After starting on my ring-bound planner, my Midori has been mainly used for travelling and spiritual journalling. Since I am blessed with living in central Europe travelling to different countries is quite easy and inexpensive. I love to travel and to write stories about what I see and do :) (just this year I've been to Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Denmark and two city trips to Belgium).

Filofax Portobello Pocket - set up

Filofax  Portobello Pocket - set up.

So for Christmas I want to surprise my mother with a new filofax. currently she's using a Succes Junior agenda that I gave her about 5 years ago. She uses it on a daily basis and for her it is specifically important she can carry it around in her handbag. So the smallest size is the best for her (something we do not have in common haha).

Succes A5 planner update - interior

Succes A5 planner update.

So this weekend I was in Gent at the FACTS comic and sci-fi convention which was awsome. I also went shopping for some stationary things and added them to the planner. This is just some eye candy of some of my new sticky notes and clips :)

Overview of Succes planners

Succes planners

So, planners. We’re all addicted to ring-binders in some form ... whether you toss your pocket or mini planner into your handbag ore are more a traditional 'personal' user, or you're like me and you like your planners big and bulky (a5, a4), we all have our preferences. If you're a beginner and you start to research the topic you quickly find the Filofax brand. Which is an amazing brand with very many choices in different price ranges. I'd like to introduce you to one of the many alternatives. This blog is not set up to take you away from Filofax as a brand, but to introduce you to another brand which might also peek your interest :) - Enjoy!

Meet my new planner!

Meet my new Succes Floris van Bommel - Planner!

So, after thinking about my new planner. For a while I was also thinking of getting a Filofax. I love the look of the Malden, but after reading some disappointing reviews on the quality of the leather (it seemed to differ a lot) I decided to look a little further. I got to the Sucess planner website (review on that later).

Pretty leather

I love to give my Midori's a nice leather bath. I have this leather grease which makes my leather notebooks and bags look super nice. Here is just a pretty picture of my both Midori's after their leather bath :)

Midori Travelers Notebook

I've bought my Midori Travelers Notebook about 4 years ago. Mainly for journaling, and I've tried using it for work, that wasn't much of a succes. I still use it on every trip to write down the things I loved on the trip.

I love making the booklet for my Midori. I use about one every 6 months for travel.

This is my booklet for my Asatru buisness

Nice fat Midori :)

So, not much to say except that I absolutely love this product. The leather is just so amazing. I love how it changes over time. I also have the passport sized one. I don't use that as much but I'll take some pictures later.

What's in my planner aka eyecandy

So, now that you know WHY I decided on the A5 planner, I think it's time to show you some of the things I've put in. This could be very educational ... ok who am I kidding this is basically eye-candy ;) Before we begin let me warn you .. this planner is .. basically .. unicorn vomit. Nothing really goes together .. it's a mess .. I love it though .. My job is already so serious .. I need a bit of insanity to keep me sane!
